Vista Hills is a close partner to Soiree and we could not be happier for that.  Vista Hills makes some extraordinary wines, and when you try them you will recognize an earthiness that is reminiscent of old-world Pinot Noir.  They have almost 50 acres under vine and as a result have a breadth of capabilities [...]

Styring was recommened to us and we were happy they let us come in un-announced.  They took us in and showed us all around their facility which is steadily moving along to be a great facility.  As you will see in the video, their wines are decorated like a war veteran, [...]

Penner Ash is set up on a hill with great views and a very well-designed tasting room and winery.  The whole facility is striking in it’s post & beam style architecture – and the wines are not shadowed by this.  As you’d expect from any Willamette Valley winery, they have an emphasis on [...]

Domaine Serene is a beautiful vineyard and the majestic name is supported by a very regal facility and tasting room.  An emphasis on Pinot Noir, but also have Burgundian style chardonnay and a Syrah.  I hope this video is an enjoyable as their wine.

I can not say enough good things about Ron at Marshal’s Vineyard, what a genuine guy.

We met Ron at the Wings&Wine festival, and Ron said if Vyd Vlog came up, he’d give us a barrel tasting.  Well, I don’t think we left a barrel untouched, and he’s got varietals galore just hanging out in the [...]

The story of Ron from Marshal’s is that he was a welder and worked pipelines going across the country.  When it was harvest season he would take a month off and go to the closest wine making region and work in a winery.  Now you see a man who is as industrious as he is [...]

These are 3 clips stitched together.  This illustrates that there is a central cluster of tasting rooms that is still being developed right off the highway in Prosser.  There are a bounty of tasting rooms though, dashed throughout the area.  And one note is that the free  map that they give  for the Yakima Valley, [...]

Pontin Del Roza is under construction in this video, but if they keep working in a similar fashion, it should be a superb tasting room inside and out.  We got to try 4 wines and got a good briefing of their deep history in the area.

Check out the video to see their tasting [...]

Who does not love a surprise?  I had always seen Argyle wines & sparkling wines, but the tasting we did just grabbed me.  Argyle is right on the main drag tucked behind a nice garden.  Unfortunately, our video-tasting had to be curtailed, as they got real busy.  However, I am sure the footage below [...]

The Pines 1852 has a nice tasting room and gallery.  It is located at the top of the main street in Hood River OR.  They make an array of wines and their tasting room is very accommodating.  You can see a video of  the main street here, and there are at least [...]

Elk Cove is a beautiful estate and is surrounded by their vineyards.  They have been around a long time and their wines speak to that.  Their facility is very nice and they even host weddings and such.  Due to an event and that we showed up on a Sunday, it was not possible to get [...]

Archery Summit is atop a hill like many of the Willamette Valley vineyards, and it has spectacular views.  The tasting room is nice and they are very good about doing tours of the cave and had 4 pinots to taste when we visited.

The staff was very accommodating and they have great history in their name [...]

ArborBrook Vineyards is a nice down to earth tasting room.  Their wines are very good and they bring in barrel samples for larger events.  They are quite active in their local community, which has block parties and other fun collaborative wine events.  ArborBrook has a playground on site and welcomes families.  It’s a [...]

Come check out Anne Amie!  Set-up on a hill, Anne Amie  has a spectacular 180 degree view.  The wines speak for themselves and they tasting room has a classical, French, Victorian, feeling – much in spirit with their labels.

Please check out the video.

(Our apologies on mis-spelling the Video name)

This is a great video to see how wine bottles go from boxes, to sterilization, to blow tests, to filling, to gas, to cork, to foil cap, labeled, and then re-boxed.

This made me think of  Leverne & Shirley.   This is a great video to watch as this is a crucial step in making [...]
